After working with hundreds of Kindergarten, Second and Third grade students, I realize so many kids are struggling with reading.  Is your child experiencing challenges with reading or writing.  Is your child nervous about passing the 3rd Grade Guarantee Reading Test? This is why I'm so excited to offer tutoring services.  Your child will learn how to go from reading challenges to becoming a more confident reader.

I am offering tutoring sessions for students entering grades 1st-4th in the areas of Reading and Writing and 3rd Grade Testing. I am a licensed teacher with a Master’s in Curriculum and over 15 years of experience in a classroom setting and much more. VHBC is a Provider of The Ohio After School Child Enrichment Grant which can pay for your tutoring services.

VHBC is  passionate about student learning and helping children make the proper connections needed to become successful readers and writers. As owner, I aim to provide targeted learning for each individual. I am a positive and enthusiastic teacher who strives to inspire a love of learning.

Each Session is 1 hour: 

(1 Session  1-2 times per week = 10 sessions)

Free Assessment Included prior to sessions

Each parent must choose Option 1, 2 or 3 : 

Option 1: Full Package: 10 sessions for $450 (paid in full) ($50 discount)

Option 2: $250 prior to the first 5 sessions, $250 prior to last 5 sessions

Option 3:  "Show Me" Package (Prices vary depending on agreed services) 

This package consists of reading assessments done with your child to determine their strengths and further needs with reading. This is followed by ongoing tools and activities that you can do at home to help your child progress. 

*Services can be paid through Ohio ACE Grant if approved or Private Pay

ACE Grant Options:  Pay up front and get reimbursed or select to have payment automatically sent to Vision and Hope Build Communities.
